This month’s articles concern Medicaid patients’ spousal income regulations, how to handle Medicare claim denials, and details of the recent expansion of Medicare to cover medically necessary dental care:
- The Centers for Medicaid Services (CMS) has released the 2023 federal guidelines for how much money the spouses of institutionalized Medicaid recipients may keep, as well as related Medicaid figures.
- If Medicare refuses to cover your care, do not assume this means you will have to take on the financial burden.
- In November 2022, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services announced that Medicare coverage will be expanded to include medically necessary dental services.
