- Does Medicare cover weight-loss drugs? With the recent boom in Americans taking Ozempic, Wegovy, and other prescription drugs to lose weight, many are asking whether Medicare Part D can cover these drugs for them. The answer is a long, qualified “maybe” at this point.
- Claiming guardianship for an elderly parent. Often an aging parent will lose their ability to think clearly or make informed decisions about their life. If they have not planned ahead with durable financial and medical power of attorney documents, handling their care can involve a claiming guardianship. If can be an involved legal process.
